things 03:12
t's hard to find a reason, It's hard to find the words, the touch, the taste, The smell, the fading memories constantly remain I can't tell where I stand I'm not waiting for human thought, a civil response from you. I'm not waiting for human thought, a civil response. I've got all this stuff, I'm quite happy with Things more than people, You value things more than people. Just no time for love; Too damn busy with Things more than people, You value things more than people. Work comes first, work comes first Things more than people, You value things more than people. Work comes first, work comes...

lights out! 02:58
The lights are out and I am in control of my thoughts again. All around, in front of me can you see it's melting? I don't want to talk, to talk about the things that scare you. And I don't want to talk, to talk about the things that scare you now. Will you remember how to grow your food when the trucks stop, when the truck stop pulling in. Will you remember how to grow your own food when the trucks stop, when the trucks stop, stop, stop! I don't want to have to be the one to scare you but things are looking just a little grim. I don't want to have to be the one to scare you, but you aren't doing much of anything. And I'm an optimistic man, trying hard to understand. Why is it I, can't explain. You won't comprehend. I don't want to be right. I don't want to be right. No concern for the facts when you're living in denial. I don't want to be right.

awake 04:28
Now I'm awake. Things make more sense when I'm sleeping. Wake up, eat, then on the drive to work I turn into a monster. I'm not trying to scare you. I'm only like this when I drive. I'm only like this when I drive. Now I'm awake. Things make more sense when I'm sleeping. Over and over the same routine. Day in and out in a state of waking sleep. I'm beginning to feel like a robot. Am I awake? I'm beginning to feel like a robot. I can't help it. You don't understand I'm not myself. My spine is twisted, aching all the time. Patience, peace and state of mind escaping me. Grinding my teeth while I sleep. In a factory downtown, try and take the most menial of tasks and turn it into something you can be proud of. And I know the days are long. But keep holding on and maybe get that chance to one day do something you might really love. And have a little more self respect, and earn a little more than minimum wage. I won't be your monkey, won't be your robot.

better not touch (free) 03:17
You better not touch! cause it's important it is expensive it is the future and we're poor don't touch... You better not touch! (don't even think about it) You better not touch! (just keep your hands in your pockets) You better not touch (don't even think about it) cause it's important (the most important thing)

toys 03:48
All our plans will change as all our riches fade in hope of something new in hope of being saved it seems we've come too far we've used up all our time this place is dead inside the weak will not survive Standing at the side of the road with your fuel gauge stuck on low. Stranded at the side of the road with your fuel gauge stuck on low. It's over. All your favourite things All that you enjoy Everything you need All our precious toys
